The youth from Israel come from Druse group. The Druse (duruze) - is a
closed religion group, which emerged from Egyptian Islam in 11th century.
In Israel, the Sruse live mainly in the northern part of Golan Hills. Their
religion joins elements of Muslim religion with Christianity, gnosticism
and old Middle East religions. Druse religion is monotheistic. There are
about 500-600 thousands of it's believers. In Israel they have to serve
in the army (apart from sheiks - initiated in science).
The German youth came from Bochum and the surrounding areas of Westfalia
- Ruhr Centre.
From the Polish side, the youth from Bircza took part in this project.
